Medium format image, eastern Washington (don't ask me where!). I almost didn't take this picture. I drove by it. Thought it was interesting. Kept driving. Thought some more. Drove back, and took it. So glad I did!

Pay attention to that little voice that tells you to press the button - you'll often be glad you did! [cloudscape #14 was the same way! It was the first piece I ever sold, and to think I almost didn't even have it, and it's now one of my favorites.]

Yeah, thanks! That's one of the biggest things I'm learning with more and more experience - to pay attention to that little voice of the subconscious!

wow-amazing picture, by the way, is that polarizing effect a special lens on your camera or added in ps?

It's a filter that goes on the lens. A circular polarizer is the best kind - you put it on then just turn the lens until you get the desired strength (as much or as little). I tend to max it out.
